Hello there, I'm Mark Brankin and I have set up Simply Lasting Powers of Attorney, to meet the need for professional, local, approachable and affordable help to enable people to put in place their Later Life Plans. This includes:

Prior to setting up Simply Lasting Powers of Attorney I had over 40 years experience in banking and records management. For the last six years I have worked for Age UK Cheshire, where I ran their Later Life Planning Service. I am a professional Will Writer, registered as a member of the Society of Will Writers. This provides the backup and access to their services including full professional indemnity insurance.

I am passionate about increasing the awareness of people about the importance of putting in place Lasting Powers of Attorney and I can also act as your Certificate Provider (confirming your capacity under the Mental Capacity Act 2005).

COVID 19

The Coronavirus pandemic has intensified the need for people to have both Health & Welfare and Property & Financial Affairs in place. Imagine how much easier it is for the family of someone shielding to help them if a usable property and finance LPA is in place.

In order that we can meet this need we have taken the appropriate measures to make the way we act as COVID secure as possible.

COVID 19 Security Measures:

As the business is run solely by Mark Brankin, he deals with all the aspects of your case, reducing the possibility of cross contamination with administration staff or colleagues.
E-mail and “soft copies” of draft documents are increasingly being used where possible.
Any suitable precautions are taken at signing meetings.
Mark is fully vacinated, and carries out regular lateral flow tests.
